I dedicate this album to the millions of people all over the world, who prayed for and or supported my family and I during this time. My music is more than entertainment, these songs are the soundtrack of my testimony that through, the power of an almighty God, gave me the courage, strength, and FAITH to overcome obstacles, and stand up to the Goliaths downtown (The POWERS That Be) who continuously step on and hurt the very people that they are supposed to help and lead! Surviving the tactics of these people is worse than everyday crime, they literally pile on until you give up! I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy what the City, the Mayor and the Detroit Land Bank did to my family and I. T have been shot and stabbed, and this malicious attack felt 10 times worse! I was really weak, I lost 34 pounds during this ordeal, I had only enough strength to reach for the hem of HIS garment. I had not had any sleep for 2 1/2 weeks. Yes, I was knocked down, pummeled and kicked, as I fought for my life, with my health spiraling out of control. My blood pressure was sky high and as my wife prepared to rush me to the hospital, I asked her to let me have a moment with God. I asked God to give me strength and take the pains away. In a Clarion call, I called out to HIM and suddenly God acted. When my wife returned to the room, I asked her to recheck my blood pressure, it was returning to normal. Then as I prayed on my knees in my war room, the melody of the song I'm Healing came upon me. I did NOT have to go to the hospital and we both cried tears of joy! I looked in her eyes and I could see a peace had come over her; and she said that I looked better and was calmer. I began to hum my thoughts and my prayers of Thanksgiving, ultimately transcribing to the lyrics of song. Soon thereafter, my wife and son joined me in the studio; lending their voices, as their feelings poured from their hearts and emotions.
